Elite Boxing are proud to announce another victory of one of their super middleweight pro-boxers, Mickey ‘The Demolition Man’ Ellison.
The clinical performance against the experienced Latvian, Raimonds Sniedze, saw Mickey secure a unanimous points victory by clearly winning each of the six rounds at The Whites Hotel in Bolton refereed by Mark Lyson on 24th February 2018.
Mickey is relatively new to the pro game however, with his speedy progression through the amateur ranks where he seemed seemingly unstoppable at times, he amassed a wealth of experience that is now seeing him making a similar impact on the pro ranks.
Mickey, who boasts an impressive five wins out of six, with just one loss on points against a veteran Orthodox, Carl Wild (who has fought against household names including Enzo Macarinelli) is now looking to further his fight career by securing his next bout under promotor Steve Wood of VIP Promotions.
Mickey is extremely heavy handed at his weight and his stable mates have long referred to his ‘granite fists’ that always seem to find their target and get the job done.
Alex Matvienko, head coach at Elite Boxing Gym said “We are all extremely proud of Mickey and his recent win. The commitment, determination and resilience of this guy is enormous and his desire to get better is fantastic. He’s a pleasure to coach and we are all confident he has the skills required to make it to the very top.”
Mickey is looking forward to his next pro bout and if you would like tickets or to find out more, please contact the gym now.
