Halliwell ABC Home Show Starts Season in Style
Halliwell ABC kicked off the brand new 2025/26 amateur season with another electric home show in Bolton.
Picking up where the busy team left off before the summer break, there were over 10 action-packed bouts that took place at the fantastic venue of The Hideout in Farnworth.
From the juniors to seniors and both male and female fighters, Halliwell began the new campaign in a typically exciting fashion.

As is always the case with stacked home shows, there were mixed results for the team, but the momentum of victories will be built on, and setbacks are there to learn from.
Among the youth boxers, Jack Brooks, Zubaidah Parveen, Olly McLoughlin and Ryley Cunliffe all continued their progression with great skills contests, while Elliot Pennington and Aaliyah also picked up impressive wins.
Luke Street carried on his surge with a strong display to get the nod over a tough opponent, as well as Adam Mirga earning another solid decision triumph.

Sean McMyler, Sam Akinsete, Sam Lane and Reece Delaney were all involved in testing and very exciting match-ups, gaining valuable experience for the remainder of the season.
The night finished off with experienced seniors Henry Gargan, Jack Gregory and Blake Davidson all rallying to brilliant wins too.
“I think the whole team put up one serious display of boxing,” stated Head Trainer at Elite Boxing Gym, Alex Matvienko, following another superb night of amateur boxing.

“Halliwell is fast becoming the best in the UK. Every one of the team has improved so much. Well done to all.”
Adding to that sentiment, Halliwell Head Coach Phil Robinson was full of praise for the squad as well.
“There were brilliant performances all round on the night,” he said. “It was a great show and there was fantastic support. The venue was bouncing.”
Regardless of results, every one of the Halliwell ABC roster fought with heart and passion as always, kicking off what is set to be another hugely successful season.
