Elite Trio Khan, Naseeb and Saeed Secure Successes

Elite Boxing's professional trio of fighters Abdul Khan, Yousif Saeed and Imad Naseeb all secured their latest career victories to continue their respective unbeaten careers.

Across the week, all three undefeated prospects earned impressive successes in Farnworth and London to set up further big fight opportunities later this year.

At The Hideout Arena in Farnworth, both Saeed and Naseeb rallied to dominant triumphs on another big VIP Boxing event.

Rising welterweight talent Saeed defeated late replacement opponent Ali Mohammadi over the distance to move to 7-0, while bantamweight star Naseeb rose to 8-0 with a decision victory over Lakshmy Zaragoza Contreras.

Speaking after their most-recent career notches, both Elite Boxing Gym fighters were pleased with their performances and looked forward to what's next.

“I was pleased with the performance overall,” stated Saeed after his latest win.

“We had a late change of opponent, so we didn’t have much time to prepare for his style and I had to make adjustments during the fight.

“He was a live, game opponent and gave me a tough test, which made it a valuable learning experience.

“I’m happy to get the win, move to 7-0, and now I’m looking forward to what’s next.”

Naseeb added: "Now 8-0. On to the next!"

Meanwhile, unbeaten featherweight Khan shone on the Adam Azim undercard with a second-round stoppage win over Liam Fitzmaurice at Wembley Arena in London.

After going to 15-0, Khan is now looking forward to bigger match-ups on the horizon.

“I felt good in the fight, everything I have been doing in the gym is coming into fruition,” Khan said following his KO triumph.

“All the work Alex [Matvienko] and Tom [McNeil] have been doing is working and is coming into display.”
