Elite’s Pro Fighters Share Their 2025 Goals
It’s been another extremely busy year for Elite Boxing Gym’s strong stable of professional fighters and the dedicated coaches who oversee their journeys.
From debuts to title fights, 2024 has proved to be another 12 months of progression for the talented squad.
Following the success throughout this year and plenty more on the horizon, our team of pro fighters have personally assessed their own performances and outlined their goals for 2025.

I feel like my 2024 was a good year. It was a starting year for my title contention. I got a new team in everybody at Elite Boxing and I’m looking forward to a bigger 2025. I would like to achieve more titles and stay undefeated, God willing.

2024 has been a frustrating year full of broken promises, fallen through fights and injuries. So, it’s been a frustrating one but I’m ending the year with news of a big fight. I’m super excited and itching to sign the contracts so I’m just in the gym training hard and improving a lot under Alex. So, I’m happy about that.
In 2025 I’m going to become unified super-welterweight champion of the world and be the most improved British fighter. I’ve worked hard these past 18 months in the shadows and I’m excited to show it.

I think 2024 has been positive for my boxing career after having some time out due to unfortunate events and now being back in the boxing ring having four successful fights one after another. In 2025 I’m coming for the titles. The British title is the one I have got my eyes on.
Imad Naseeb
2024 was a brilliant year for me, having a baby girl and two fights with two wins and improving each fight. I’ve not stopped training all year and improving day by day.
Goals for 2025 are for me to stop working completely as I work part time now and focus on boxing. Fight on a big TV show too, like DAZN and then fight for and win a title by the end of the year.
Mickey Ellison
This year was not what I planned for but there’s always a reason why. I managed to get back fit and get back to winning ways. So, after a poor start it’s not the end of the world.
In 2025 I’d like to be as active as possible and ideally win a title. But other than that, fight some of the best and roll the dice.
Yousif Saeed
I’d rate my year a 9/10. Achieving my life goal of turning pro and making my debut was huge for me and going 3-0 this year just made it even better. Avenging my amateur loss showed the big improvements I’ve made and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
For 2025, my goal is to stay unbeaten and start climbing the rankings. I’m aiming for a title fight by the end of the year or at least heading in the direction of one—big challenges ahead, but I’m ready for them.
Lee Gormley
It started off a frustrating year with cancelled shows but it ended well. After having our baby daughter, I managed to get two good wins under my belt. I’m happy with the performances and showed my improvements but I’m eager to keep going even further. I’ve got a lot more to show.
I’m hoping to have a busier 2025, starting early in the New Year. The aim is to get a six-rounder or two completed early then push on and I’d love to win a Celtic title back in Ireland. That would a dream scenario for me.
Marcus Tomlinson
I’ve had an amazing year at Elite and been fortunate enough to spend two training camps with world title contender, Hamzah Sheeraz. Him and his team have taken me under their wing to help my career. Which I’m forever grateful for.
Despite taking my first loss, I’ve had a great learning year and growth to push me in 2025. In 2025, I’m ready to step up and challenge for titles and continue to elevate my career.
